You can help us make the health formal investigation a success
Last December the DRC launched 'Equal Treatment: Closing the Gap', a formal investigation into physical health inequalities experienced by people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems, of any age, in England and Wales.
The investigation's first phase is to gather the views and experiences of individual people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities and primary care practitioners through our Equal Treatment questionnaires. We welcome your involvement to ensure the questionnaires are disseminated as far and wide as possible to maximise response.
Questionnaires are available in English and Welsh and in a range of accessible formats (including an easy to read format with an accompanying cassette for people with learning difficulties).
On-line questionnaires can be found at www.drc-gb.org/health, where you can also access a range of background information on the investigation.

* Deadline for submission of completed questionnaires from people with learning disabilities or people with mental health problems is the end of March 2005.
* The deadline for primary care practitioners completed questionnaires is the end of April 2005
