Peter Green - Sustrans
Sustrans is the national sustainable transport charity and organisation behind the National Cycle Network, though we do much more than this. Working with all ages we provide training and support to encourage more active lifestyles through projects such as Bike It, training children in schools, providing funding for cycle facilities in schools and safe links on and off road to schools through to larger projects working with partners in the public and private sectors to provide links between communities and give real choices in local travel.
Peter Green is Area Manager for Sustrans in Greater Manchester and has responsibility for maintaining the Sustrans network in the area, project managing over a dozen major infrastructure projects with our partners, and promoting the development of the national cycle network and other projects in the region.
